Dr Marian Farah is the Founder and CEO of de Finetti Labs, which she founded in 2018 with the vision of helping early-stage startups and VC firms navigate bridging data and AI to real-world impact.

Dr Farah earned her PhD in Bayesian Statistics from UC Santa Cruz, applying novel methods to quantifying the reliability of spaceborne microelectronics. Afterward, she joined the MRC Biostatistics Unit at the University of Cambridge as a post-doctoral researcher in epidemic modeling. Since then, Dr Farah spent a decade leading AI and Data Science teams across vital sectors like Climate Science, AgTech, and Biotech. She is experienced in navigating startup ecosystems, skillfully moving through ambiguous environments to sculpt data and AI strategies alongside executive teams.

de Finitte Labs's current engagements include innovative applications in software through LLMs with RAG, data science strategies for Climate Tech, and LLMs / NLP for Mental Health.
